Kiwanis Tax Credit
Take advantage of the Arizona State Qualifying Charitable Organization Tax Credit and DIRECT YOUR ARIZONA STATE TAX DOLLARS AND HELP PINNACLE SOFTBALL AT THE SAME TIME!:
- North Phoenix Kiwanis Foundation Inc. (20589) is a Qualifying Charitable Organization in the list of organizations provided by the State of Arizona Department of Revenue. Donations are eligible for the State of Arizona Charitable Tax Credit.
- 2025 tax year - max $495 single/$987 married filing joint (you can donate up until 4/15/26 for the 2025 tax year).
- 2026 tax year - max $506 single/$1009 married filing joint.
- The softball program receives 50% of the donation, and the player of your choice receives credit for this amount. The remaining proceeds are directed directly to local projects.
- It costs you nothing. This donation gives you a say in how your tax dollars are spent and reduces your tax bill. For example, if you donate $987, your Arizona state tax bill at tax time will be reduced by $987.
- This is a completely separate tax credit from the public and private school tax credits. The Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO) Tax Credit does not affect the amounts you can give to the school tax credits in any way. You will still be able to donate to the public and private schools and receive those eligible tax credits.
- School programs are in need of support. School district budgets for extracurricular activities fail to meet many of the basic needs for programs to operate. Tax credit funds are heavily relied upon to make up the difference.
- Any Arizona taxpayer can participate. You don't need to have a child or be part of our district to participate. You only have to be an Arizona taxpayer to take part in this program. Please encourage others you may know to take advantage of the tax credit.
There are two ways to donate:
- By check, made out to “North Phoenix Kiwanis” which must be turned in to the PHS Boosters by February 25. (Note that checks will not be cashed until March 2026 but can count for 2025 taxes)
- By donating online through the North Phoenix Kiwanis "Zeffy " account.
- Use the QR code below to link to the online portal. It will say "NPK One Step at a Time Walk-a-Thon 2025". Select donation amount.
- Fill in additional contact information AND, most importantly, YOU MUST enter: PINNACLE SOFTBALL in the WAT Team Name. This will ensure that we get the credit.
- Under “Help keep Zeffy free”, choose "other" and put $0.
- Lastly, please send email with Player Name, Donor Name, and amount to Emily Stowe [email protected] or Pinnacle Softball Boosters [email protected].
